A courtroom visual novel, "The Real Face of a VTuber" demo is available now

The Real Face of a VTuber is a courtroom visual novel. You play as Prosecutor Justin Truth investigating a murder at a VTuber agency. Possible suspects have been whittled down to one of the agency's six employees, three of which claim to be Kuripa's "real face," saying they were streaming as Kuripa during Mr. C's murder—the perfect alibi! As prosecutor, it is your job to uncover the lies and reveal the truth.

Players must question all possible suspects, uncover conflicts in their statements, and determine who to prosecute. Then, in the courtroom, you'll cross-examine witnesses, present evidence to reveal weaknesses in their statements, undermine their credibility, and achieve ultimate victory!

A Killer Comedy

Although it's about a murder, the game has plenty of laughs. For example, the victim is an actual chicken, and the tutorial involves catching the culprit who stole your pudding. Every suspect has a unique, memorable personality, including an artist commonly mistaken for a child, an agent who flirts with any man with a pulse, and a 3D modeler who thinks Kuripa, the VTuber, is her "daughter." Players can enjoy a tense, edge-of-your-seat mystery while laughing the whole way through.

Courtroom Rules

Players must follow a general set of rules while in the courtroom. Using improper methods such as "leading questions" and "hearsay evidence" will be objected to by the defense, interrupting proceedings. Players will have to use their wits to get favorable testimonies from witnesses without breaking the rules.
