"The Real Faces of VTuber" is a text-based adventure mystery game themed around VTubers and set in a courtroom. Players take on the role of a prosecutor investigating the murder of an entertainment company's CEO.
Description
Set in a fictional VTuber agency, the story unfolds with the CEO's mysterious death in his office. Suspicion falls on six employees who had access to the keys. Adding to the mystery, three claim to be the actual person, the "Nakanohito", behind the agency's virtual idol, "Kuripa", using their alibi of live streaming at the time of the crime. Who's lying? Identifying the true "Nakanohito" is crucial to crack the case.
A Courtroom Debate Game with a Prosecutor as the Protagonist
The game divides into 'Investigation' and 'Court Trial' phases. Players, wielding the prosecutor's authority, can summon suspects to the district prosecutor's office to unravel the case, scrutinize the contradictions in testimonies, direct the investigation's focus, and decide on the prosecution based on collected evidence. In court, players need to cooperate with the prosecution's witnesses and point out the inconsistencies in the defense witnesses' testimonies to achieve victory. The game has three different endings, hinging on the player's deductive prowess.
Blending VTuber Culture to Craft Dual Mysteries
